15 Vegetables and Fruits recommended during confinement period

You have heard many “Dos” and “Donts” even before you give birth! Enough on that, let’s focus on what to eat!

Vegetables and fruits are classified according to their natural properties. In TCM, Food with warm and neutral properties are often recommended during confinement period. While food with cooling properties are least recommended or best, avoided.

Eating vegetables is good during confinement being fiber-rich food which may help digestive system during confinement period. 

Here are some food choices to consider besides the herbs:
